Inspired by the idyllic town of Sitio, Portugal where the waves crash majestically against the cliffs. This pattern features hand-painted swaths of indigo color on an off-white glaze. Although a favorite, this Sitio pattern is a challenge to produce consistently at Juliska's high-quality standards. And so...

Our artisans and suppliers in Portugal worked tirelessly to develop a new manufacturing process for this popular pattern. With this upgrade, we took the opportunity to re-design the pattern with Juliska's classic whitewash glaze and to use new technology for the striped border (enabling us to launch new colors in future seasons - as seen with the addition of Sitio Basil for Spring). We also added a cocktail plate to the collection and adapted the mug to give it a larger and more functional handle. Cheers to a fresh start!
